Sometimes love singles you out when you least expect it—or want it…

Harper

Commitment was never my thing.

But I’ve been directionless for far too long. It’s time to take on some responsibilities and get my life together.

Bidding on my best friend’s brother at a bachelor auction didn’t help me with that. Neither did having a hot, secret fling with him.

Too bad that didn’t stop me.

Because now I’m in way over my head. And I’m afraid I might not be ready for the biggest commitment of all.

Love…

Max

I’ve got more commitments than I can handle.

I became a single dad overnight. Between that and my coaching job, I don’t have time for romance.

Especially not with her

Harper’s not only my little sister’s friend, she’s also my boss’s daughter. There are a million reasons why we shouldn’t be together.

And I can’t seem to remember any of them when she’s in my arms…

Singled Out, book 1 in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series, is an emotional, sexy, opposites attract, small town contemporary romance. Preorder today and get ready to fall for Harper, Max, and Dragonfly Lake.

Max and Harper

Amy Knupp gives readers ALL the feels and as expected, I was once again effortlessly and fully engaged. I loved Max and Harper and their story pulled at all the heart-strings. This age-gap, "forbidden" attraction is another excellent read and I highly recommend.

Read about what a bachelor auction can start

This is the first book in the Single Dad's of Dragonfly Lake series. It is a standalone story of a math teacher/coach and a free spirit artist. As both of our leading characters deal with loss, we see them denying the chemistry between them, but in the end we get our HEA. I enjoyed the small town and characters that Ms. Knupp crafted and look forward to reading more.

A story about second chances

This new series by this talented author starts with a bang.
We are back in Dragonfly Lake, where we met the Henry brothers from previous series. This time, we’ll be spending time with the single dads in town.
Max Dawson, former NFL player and currently the HS coach and math teacher, became a father a year ago when his cousin and his wife died in an accident. He loves the little boy to pieces and is determined to stay unattached in order to dedicate his life to the child.
Harper Ellison , the daughter of the HS principal, is a waitress at the local cafe. On a dare, and with the money left for a good cause by a dear friend, she bids for Max in the bachelor auction with the purpose of having him escort her to the gala given in memory of her friend.
What starts as a fling gets complicated when feelings develop.
Will they go their separate ways or will they realize love is worth the risk?
This was a story about second chances in life and love. It’s also a story about family, discovering oneself, taking risks and taking a leap of faith.
A great start for the series.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
